Basic Overview


We are looking for a system administrator to support our clients' Salesforce environments. This entry to mid-level role is fully remote and operates on EST.


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Support daily activities related to production operations and support of the client’s salesforce environment
  • Escalation of urgent problems requiring more in-depth knowledge to appropriate internal resources
  • Effectively collaborate with other members of the team and their internal and external customers
  • Deploy and decommission environments for hosted applications following established processes and procedures
  • Monitor system and application performance to detect errors, apply testing procedures/methodologies (e.g. diagnostic/monitoring software), and provide interpretation of data
  • Resolve incidents, issues, and problems, alone and through collaboration with other members of the Salesforce support team
  • Ensure all production incidents are recorded in a timely and accurately
  • Provide on-call support as scheduled per the client’s acquisition
  • Assist with support documentation and provide input into standard operation procedures; communicate state of production to upper management
  • Responsible for hands-on configuration, administration, and technical support for cloud-based and on-premise solutions
  • Develop 3rd party integration patterns

Qualifications


  • 1+ years of experience as a system administrator in a high-growth company
  • 1+ years of Salesforce experience, specifically Salesforce.org , and Communities
  • Preferred Salesforce Administrator certification
  • Effective interpersonal skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to work under time pressures while maintaining a customer service attitude
  • Ability to troubleshoot, reproduce, and solve challenging issues for large-scale applications
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical details to a range of stakeholders

Position Duties:

Develop and support proprietary software solutions on the Salesforce platform.


Requirements:

Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science or related field; two years of experience in Salesforce implementation and administration in the nonprofit or association industry; Salesforce Administrator and Salesforce Advanced Administrator certifications; and experience with database analysis and transformation techniques using software applications like SQL Server Management Studio and EasyMorph.
